Downtown

Well, it's quarter after 10 p.m., and the downtown is starting to fill up. At the intersection of Main and Broadway came the chirping of walkie-talkie phones. Sounded like a field of electronic crickets. Further down, the vans used by the cab companies were already shuttling gangs of students in from wherever -- kids were yelling and screaming. Reminded me of a few times on liberty overseas.

On a related note, anyone know when the annual Operation Student Fleece begins?
