Credit union robber image clearly shows gun


Mt. Pleasant Police have released an image of the suspect who robbed the Nu Union Credit Union late Friday.
The suspect is a white male, wearing a a ski mask, goggles and a blue winter jacket. The image clearly shows the suspect carrying a semi-automatic handgun.

The man entered the credit union, at the corner of Pickard and Harris streets, about 5:30 p.m. He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect fled on foot leaving through the west side of the building and escaped through a nearby alley.
Officers say they believe the suspect was carrying a maroon Nu Union Credit Union bag.
The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribal Police called in a K-9 unit to track the suspect.
No shots were fired and no one was hurt in the robbery.
